A website for students and their families
A website with helpful resources, materials, and tips
About Me
Hi! My name is Laura Alger and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist who has worked 14 years in the North Carolina Public School System. I most especially enjoy working with high school age students and appreciate the opportunity to make a difference in each of my students’ lives. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech- Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and am board certified through the North Carolina State Board of Examiners. I graduated from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I earned a second Masters degree in Library Science from North Carolina Central University. My goal when creating this website was to organize and share websites, materials, and resources to help my students and their families while "Staying at Home" during school closure due to COVID-19. This website will continually be added to, so stay tuned! |
